So, they would walk up to my wide-eyed and innocent self and ask how I was. Twenty minutes later, I found myself deep in a conversation with one of my mom's colleagues. I believe people are fascinating. The twitch of an eye or a simple intonation can tell worlds more than verbally describing how one is feeling. So, I study languages to reach a variety of people and cultures, and I study journalism to understand the minutia of the communication I love.
